being emo via a blackberry

(A note: I'm still not certain what direction I want this blog to go, but I figure it's better to start somewhere.)

Boston takes on an irresistable quality as the sun starts to head west and the air getsa bit more brisky. I wish I grabbed my camera this morning to capture these moments because I may not be able to recreate them next time.

I sat in my favorite North End cafe drinking a mocha reminding myself of how much I enjoy quality espresso. I treated myself to a piece of chocolate mousse cake that was equally delicious.

Walking back to Beacon Hill I cut through the North End Park with it's fountains and trellises thinking about how close this place is to me each and every day, my own secret garden amid buildings, expressways, and tourists.

The sky is a perfect blue with just a few clouds and there is a bit of a chill. Maybe fall is actually here; just maybe.

I'm sitting in this little park across from my class. There is a bird fountain in the center that reminds me of the Shakespeare Garden at Lewis & Clark. The mix of college students, lawyers, & people that somehow manage to live on this small cobblestone road always throw my mind into a spin. Just behind this park is an old church I've never noticed before; like a bit of Ireland hidden away.
